It's always the places that you never expect to find that turn out to be the most unforgettable. We stumbled upon a greenhouse on the side of the road selling various types of plants, and of course, decided to pull over. Pretty quickly we realized that we had found one of the most incredible green thumbs on the East Coast! The honours belonged to a humble old man by the name of Austin. He showed us all around his property, taking us into all six of the greenhouses and teaching us a thing or two about gardening. As we walked admiring all that he had created, he shared stories from his past about his family history and how he became a gardener. This man spoke so very highly of passion, and how it is the key ingredient of them all to a successful life. "Without it", he said, "there would be no point to life at all." We left with a lot of inspiration, a few types of flowers for the garden, and some free pots for planting our own seeds.
